About us

Porsche eBike Performance GmbH develops and produces pioneering drive systems under two brands at the company's location in Ottobrunn near Munich: compact lightweights from FAZUA for agile e-bikes that create an exceptionally natural riding experience, and in future also particularly powerful drive systems under the Porsche brand name. FAZUA is a young, ambitious brand that turned the bicycle industry on its head in 2017 with a completely new, innovative drive system for lightweight, agile (and good-looking) e-bikes. We have been part of Porsche eBike Performance GmbH since July 2022. Our diverse, open, progressive (and fun) team is looking forward to new inspiring talents who want to shape the future of e-bike technology and establish a new bike culture with us.

Your Tasks

  • Analysing developments and technologies regarding patentable aspects.
  • Drafting patent applications and overseeing and guiding the application process substantively.
  • Conducting patent searches and feature analyses, evaluating patent portfolios.
  • Collaborating with developers, attorneys, and external service providers on (IP) Intellectual Property issues.
  • Assisting the IP team in developing and implementing IP strategies.
  • Collecting feedback and evaluating results.

Your Profile

  • Completed a technical degree in engineering or a related field
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in relevant areas
  • Basic knowledge of German and international patent law and understanding the structure of property rights
  • You think analytically and can comprehend complex technical matters
  • Proficiency in the following software is advantageous: SolidWorks, Confluence, Jira, MS Office, lamIP
  • Being organized, prioritizing and managing tasks across various and time-sensitive projects.
  • Working independently and coordinating with the team
  • Effectively communicating ideas and situations
  • You are fluent in both German and English
